SOOOO...I tried Durian the other day,I paid $47.37..way to expensive for just trying it out I know. Everyone in the house protested "GET IT OUT OF HERE!!EEWW it smells gross!". So I took it to the park and had a raw picnic by myself. I like the Durian, but my body kept trying to reject it. I thought because it was new and really full of "super food" goodness,that is why I was getting the gag thing going. Then later I felt really sick all over then my skin starting turning pink, I felt fevery with cold flushes, and was having dizzy spells.
The next day feeling a bit better,I was youtubein' some raw food recipes,one of them called for Durian,it had a text window in it for a correction of protein and HIGHLY SULFURED..I write that in caps because I am ALLERGIC to sulfa. I further researched it and yuppers SULFUR, SULFA,and more SULFUR.
It all makes sense now, right?
Anyhow I am sad, it tasted good to me,but I can not have it. *sniff sniff*.
Has anyone else had crazy reactions to foods?
