It's 6:30 in the morning and it's already a good day. In October of last year, I weighed 185 pounds. This morning, I got on the scale to see 158. I've not been in the 150's for about 5 years. I think I'll have a smile on my face all day. What a journey. I still have a way to go, but oh-my-goodness, I've lost 27 pounds?!! I love raw foods for sure.
I'm planning on having some celery/cucumber/lemon juice as well as some apple/fennel juice today and then a kale salad with avo dressing (been loving avocados the past few days), spinach soup and perhaps strawberry pie for dessert. This Raw Food Detox (Natalia Rose) approach of juicing to start the day, and ending the day with a raw meal is nice because I can focus on what yummy dish I'm going to make that day.
