100 Day Raw Food Challenge

After cheating on my birthday and going out for a wonderful though completely unhealthy dinner I got right back on the wagon the next day and have been doing well staying low glycemic ever since. I am definitely irritable due to the lack of sugar though. The cravings are pretty intense and they definitely make it a challenge.
I am eating such delicious, wholesome, life-giving, and health supporting food and yet I am ungrateful and want peanut butter and crackers and chocolate chip cookies!
Another frustrating aspect is that I have stopped losing weight ever since going out to eat. I gained two pounds after that day and have yet so see the scale move since. I did an enema and have been eating pretty minimally and running so I'm not sure why the scale stopped moving. But it gives that part of me that wants any excuse to eat an entire bag of chocolate chips an excuse to give up this raw low glycemic nonsense. I'm trying to stay positive and convince myself that there are surely lots of wonderful changes going on inside my body that I just can't notice at the moment.
My roommate says everyday that I'm getting thinner and that I look really great and reminds me of how disappointed I'd be in myself if I gave up. I know he's right but it's so difficult right now.
My new favorite soup at the moment is Garden Vegetable from Raw Made Easy for 1 or 2 people. Oh my gosh it's so flavorful and yummy.
You know what would go good with it? Some Kashi crackers. lol.
I have an order coming from RawFoodWorld and I ordered some flax crackers and tahini. I'll have to focus on raw low glycemic "junk food" for now. Kale chips, how I adore thee.
I'd like to make it through until July 1st on Phase 1 and then go for another 2 weeks or so on Phase 1.5. In my dream world I'd like to be 120lbs and have nice skin (aka no more acne!) by the end of July but I don't know how realistic that is. My skin does look a lot better than it has in months and I am also thinner than I've been in months but if that scale doesn't get moving soon I may miss out on wearing my shorts this summer...
But ultimately I do this for my health and longevity so whether I lose 13lbs or not I have to stick with Phase 1!!

Eating minimally can actually stop you from losing weight as your body holds on to weight when it feels like it isn't getting enough. A tricky thing. I recently started drinking 2 teas and have been releasing some weight....they are Yogi Teas...the Blueberry Green Tea SlimTea (not the exact name but it's basically that) and also their Healthy Fasting Tea. The Blueberry Green Tea helps suppress appetite and the Healthy Fasting Tea helps to lose water weight. Try this and make sure you eat enough food, esp between 10 am and 6pm.... I went from 184.5 down to 182 overnight...then the next day I was down to 181.....I ran out of tea so got temporarily off track, went back up to 183.5.....got more tea and today I am down to 181 again. I don't know if this will keep on going down, I hope so....but I am doing 100% raw (for the last 2 days...so far so good...) and drinking the teas....and losing some weight. Do stick with the low glycemic diet and maybe take something like CandiGest or CandidaCleanse as that will help get rid of any cravings you might be experiencing.
