I like your pix too! I really love the one of you in that hillside field of blooming elecampane! I would LOVE to discover that wild herb in my "backyard". We don't live too far apart...I am in SW Oregon and the mild climate makes for great gardening. When we bought our land 12 yrs ago all I wanted to do and still do is grow my own food...It takes a large space! Thanks for your nice comment.

Hi Rebecca! Yes, I do a lot of weight lifting and I love it! Thanks for asking.
I'm trying my hand right now at a hybrid between 80/10/10 and traditional raw. Works well with the weights.
tee-hee~ thanks for asking, too~ now i have an internet page open to the meditation society... & have no excuse to not meditate this morning as was the plan that i was getting ready to skirt my way out of ;)

hi there, thanx for asking and i hope you're doing good ... sorry for the late repyl, i haven't been online for quite a good amount of days now, still i have been raw, but not a 100% anymore. i'm getting back to it though. still i noticed however, that eating not 100% raw let my scale waggy up again and i was frustrated as much as could be so i nearly lost all of my motivation ... but on the other hand i also noticed how i felt yucky eating so much junk again and how all of a sudden the heartburn returned and stomache aches and what not. so it was good for me to notice that raw food is and always will be THE thing to eat. so i'm back on the track, although not as motivated yet, but still hanging in :-))
Hi Rebecca!
Sorry for the delay in responding. We returned from our Germany trip last Sunday and re-entry has been a bitch! Plus I'm healing from a fall I took on the trip. So I haven't been feeling so well. But anyhoo......
Wendilou took my profile pic and added the fancy-schmancy effects to it. Isn't it a happy thing?
Except for a little gardening with petunias and marigolds as a little kid, I have NEVER grown my own plants and wasn't even interested in trying. I think being here on Rawfu and eating healthier and also gluten-free inspired me to try growing a few things. I'm really excited about it. The plants survived us being away for 10 days (a neighbor watered for us) and we have some tomatoes coming in! YEAH for me!!
Hope things are going well in Bozeman!
HUGS!
Wow I was looking at your pictures I love the way you live out doors. This is my first year trying to do more outdoor things. You inspire me. And you look so young. Please tell me that's the raw living doing?

Work outs going are going so well. I started weight training again and then only about 15-20 minutes of cardio and then just walking my dogs. I have success when I do what I can. I have so little time so if I can only get 2 movements in and 20 minutes of cardio, I'm going OK. In the past, if I didn't do everything the way I had planned or the weight my workout log was written, I would be depressed and probably start picking at something I shouldn't. So I'm very happy.
Blog your vacation. I'd be interested in hearing how it goes.
I think they are called tuxedo kitties. You should be able to find one. I know it wouldn't replace Shadow, but would bring love and lots of cuddles into your life :) Purrrrr.....

Wow! I'm glad I did. You have some incredible pictures. Looks like you are quite the adventurer! Cute kids too!
Hmmm... Valid concerns. My family gave me a lot of crap at first until they saw that I was serious and really sticking to it. I just ignored them and munched away. I got plenty of cracks, too, but I didn't really care because I was more excited about my new lifestyle and I ate a lot of the gourmet raw foods so I felt like they were missing out; not me! Now it doesn't phase them at all.
I would make sure you fill up on your foods so that you don't start drooling over your mom's good cooking. Maybe let yourself have some of the fattier/sugarier raw foods to make sure you get through your stay? Pack everything you think you might need; don't skimp in this area. Don't be hard on yourself about your raw selections if you're just trying to make it raw through your stay. I mean, even if you gain a couple of pounds over eating on nuts or avos or whatever, at least you'll feel good that you stayed raw. At least that's how I am. I need to stay all raw or I'll start picking and pretty soon I'll be picking off the meat and cheese of a pizza and eating the crust. I need to keep my palate away from salt/cooked foods. Go to your health food store and get some Lara and other raw bars, too in case your fam has a yummy dessert.
Worse case If you seem to think raw items are not at your reach,go with roasted vegis,it won't hurt. But with what your heart feels ,do what is right and get the fruits and vegis in the RAW! Thats what I would do.NO JUNK!
Thank you for your sweet comment!! :) I love love LOVE the first song you have on your playlist. "John saw that number". It just put me in a great mood! My journey is going... pretty good. I've had a few minor slip ups but so far I've done pretty decent! How long have you been raw?
Love the photos! I'm still rawking good, how's it for you? I love this time of year 'cause we have lots of fresh, organic berries, melons, tomatoes, cukes, peppers and real soon, organic corn fresh off a small family owned farm a couple of miles from here . . .
I love your picture and a party LOL Your mountain hiking photos look amazing!
How raw going for you? And that long missed summer as its cold here (for us)
Great to have a new friend! Have a beautiful day xxxBlessings
