Hi Matt,

Hannah and I are planning to attend the meet-up this evening. She has an appointment on that side of town so we will already be over there. We do enjoy the meetings, it's just tough driving over at the end of the day sometimes.

Hope to see you very soon!

Wow! Your are definitely in the Kombucha business now! The pictures look great! About the boiling of the tea, some raw food purists actually make their Kombucha using Sun Tea. Even with the brewing process though, you are creating a living product. So, it's all in how you want to look at it.

See you soon!

Great pictures Matt!

How was the meeting tonight?

Hi Matt

We had planned to come and then had some unforeseen changes arise.
HOPEFULLY, we will really be there the next time in body as well as spirit!

I tested a SCOBY. The Kombucha that it produced is a little week. I think it is because it was dormant for so long. I hope to get more batches up and brewing before the next meeting. Hopefully the SCOBYs wil regain their strength.

I was disappointed with the Star article. Here the writer is presented with these amazing facts about Pamela's
enormous strides in conquering diabetes. Then she (Shari ?) has to go and write about what "nutritionists" think of the raw food diet! Let the results stand for themselves! Healing is taking place! I commented on the Star page letting them know what I thought. I'm sorry that your comments were omitted.

It sounds like you are gearing up for 1-1-10. I think you are wise in your approach.

We are going to Wisconsin next week and hope to stop at Cousin's raw food restaurant for lunch on the way.
I can't believe the prices are so reasonable for RAW FOOD! Pamela said that you and Kim went on the 18th.
What was your experience?

I hope the meeting is well attended and that you have a great time!

I saw where you asked Hannah about the Durian. I have to say it certainly had an interesting flavor. I wouldn't eat the frozen version again, but would like to try the fresh.

Have you continued on 100% raw or have you gone back to your prep for January?

Peace,

Viv

Hi Matt,

I'm sorry about your SCOBY. I think it was a little underdeveloped to handle a whole gallon of tea. But you were on the right track. I'm sorry, my daughter and I won't be able to make it tonight after all :( But I will make a note to bring the SCOBY to the next meeting.

I hope you have a great meeting! Have fun with the reporter.

Yes, we tried the durian. I have to say I'm not a fan.

Well then, I hope she (the SCOBY) is small but mighty!

Great :) It's a pretty one ! It does look a little thin so you may want to make a small batch, like a quart or a half gallon at the very most to start. You will get a baby and may need to keep the baby with its mother for a couple of batches so it gets strong and healthy :) I''ll bring one of mine for you as well (Ugly, but you can't judge a SCOBY by its cover lol!)

Hi Matt,

I found you on YouTube and realized that I HAVE seen you before! I have actually watched several of your videos in the past :) I knew as soon as I saw your First Taste of Durian video.

You have tried some of the same "fun" natural therapies as I have. I've done The Amazing Liver and Gallbladder Flush (you may have used a different recipe ?) almost every month for over a year now and I'm still getting stones!

I never made it past day 5 with the Master Cleanse. Congratulations on your effort! I may try it again one day now that my body is cleaner and I'm used to eating lighter foods. I might be able to survive on the lemonade for a longer period of time. I DO like its taste.

The oil pulling seems pretty nasty. Did it help with the psoriasis? I've never tried that one. Don't know if I will.....

I went to your MySpace as well. I actually took accordion lessons briefly as a child! I do like the sound. My heritage is German, so it's in the blood.

We have a kitty too, Ralphie. I'll put him up here in a minute. I haven't been very artistic with my page.

Well, common ground we have. Including Hoosier soil!

I hope your day two went as well as day one!

Peas,

Viv

Hi Back,

I plan to visit your MySpace page. Hannah and I had a big shopping day today and have not had a chance to do much else. But, I'll hop over tomorrow.

Interesting description of the durian. I can get your drift.

It sounds like you are off to an excellent start!

Hannah made an amazing salad dressing this evening that got us our of our raw food rut. We are digging hard!

I'll check out your page here awhile and then sign off. Looks like you have some great pix!

Hi Matt!

It was fun meeting you at Georgetown on Tuesday! Hannah and I are thrilled that there is a budding raw food community here in Indy :)

Thank you for the tip about the international market. It is interesting place. We'll probably stop in once in awhile.

We tasted the durian tonight. We thought it tasted like pineapple and onion!
How would you describe the taste? It may grow on me.

I hope day one of total raw went well for you. Let me know of your experience.

If all goes well I (we) will see you on the 14th!

Peas,

Andrea
